hollow song week #2
This week was relatively quiet for Hollow Song, as I was tied up with my full-time job and focused more on my main project (which I’ll talk about in a separate post soon). Still, I managed to get a few important things done behind the scenes.
✅ What Got Done:
-
Improved Server-Side Code:
I spent most of my dev time refining and optimizing the backend server. This included cleaning up code, improving structure, and making it more scalable for future multiplayer features. -
Login and Authentication:
I’ve started implementing a proper user login system. This includes account creation, secure password handling, and basic authentication workflows. It’s a crucial foundation for Hollow Song’s multiplayer experience. -
Database Work:
I also worked on connecting and writing to the main database. User info and session data are now being stored and retrieved correctly—small but essential steps forward.
Not a huge leap this week, but still progress. Backend stability is key, and it feels good to lay down solid groundwork before adding more features. Stay tuned for more updates—especially on the main project I’ve been juggling with!
